Welcome to the Winding Wheel

As we enter 2009 the Winding Wheel presents another full programme of music, comedy, dance and illustrated talks. As with tradition we welcome the New Year in with Sheffield Symphony Orchestra performing at our annual Viennese New Year Concert.

Other hi-lights include the return of Steeleye Span featuring Maddy Prior, classic 70's stars Showaddywaddy and the much loved and still highly respected performer, Joe Longthorne.

Some of Britains best loved stand up comics, including two of the stars of TV's 8 out of 10 Cats' Dave Spikey and Jason Manford, will be making us laugh our way out of the post Christmas Blues. Ed Byrne, another comedy circuit favourite will slao be making his Winding Wheel debut in April.
